Good Question!

There are few things smaller in size, yet more important, than a family.

Communities grow stronger when families are strong. Nations grow stronger when communities are strong. Families, communities, and nations all grow stronger when we accept the perfect standard as our guide.

The standard I'm referring to has served as a standard for centuries. It's God's word. God gave us His word as the standard, and it's up to us to follow it.

Faith

A wise man once said, “if you desire great faith be prepared for great trials”.

There is some truth in that statement. Just think how many of your best traits were learned through adversity? I’m guessing most of them.

However, faith is rarely born in a moment of grandeur. There is an intrinsic meaning to the world, but we cannot see it without eyes of faith.

Our faith will grow as we look to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith.

Family

One of the gifts my parents gave my brothers and me was an imperfect home. They taught us that we are created in the image and likeness of God.

They also taught us that we should not to be bystanders to racism, discrimination, or scapegoating.

Their teaching was consistent and it was showered with love. This gave us security and a foundation of trust.

He said confusing the two is the cause of errors and calamities without number. According to Bastiat, “wealth is not a little more or a little less money.

Instead its bread for the hungry, clothes for the naked, fuel to warm the body, oil to lengthen the day, and a day of rest after fatigue.

Money is therefore the store and symbol of wealth, but not wealth itself.”
