Just think how many of your best traits were learned through adversity? I’m guessing most of them.
However, faith is rarely born in a moment of grandeur. There is an intrinsic meaning to the world, but we cannot see it without eyes of faith.
Faith grows as we look to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith.
Family
One of the gifts my parents gave my brothers and me was an imperfect home. They taught us that we are created in the image and likeness of God.
They also taught us that we should not to be bystanders to racism, discrimination, or scapegoating.
Their teaching was consistent and it was showered with love. This gave us security and a foundation of trust.
